The Kings Ferry was entrusted with the crucial task of ferrying passengers between their hotel accommodation and the Inflight Centre at Stansted Airport on behalf of Exxon Mobil and Stena. This transportation service played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless travel experience for the clients' personnel.

Our tailored Transport Solution

In response to the unique requirements of our clients, The Kings Ferry, part of National Express Transport Solutions, provided a meticulously coordinated transportation operation. A designated lead driver orchestrated a staggered departure from the Marriott Hotel, ensuring timely transfer of passengers. Upon arrival at the Inflight Centre, our vehicle was greeted by a Stena representative, facilitating the smooth transition of passengers. Following the representative's guidance, passengers disembarked safely, and our driver and vehicle remained on standby until the flight's departure.

  2. Hand Sanitiser: Ample hand sanitiser is provided onboard for passengers' convenience and hygiene.
  3. Face Masks: Mandating the use of face coverings ensures a protective environment throughout the journey.
  4. Vehicle Fogging: Rigorous vehicle fogging protocols are integrated into our cleaning regimen to maintain a sanitised environment.
  5. Heightened Cleaning Procedures: Enhanced cleaning routines, using government-recommended products, ensure thorough sanitization after each trip, prioritising passenger safety.
Client Directives for Stringent Protocol Adherence:

To uphold the highest standards of safety and adherence to protocols, we strictly adhere to the directives provided by our clients:

  1. Quarantine Protocol: Passengers undergo a 14-day quarantine in the UK before travelling, ensuring minimal exposure risks during transit.
  2. Stena Representative Guidance: Passengers embark and disembark only under the supervision of designated Stena representatives.
  3. Face Mask Usage: While discretionary for drivers, wearing face masks is encouraged to maintain health and safety standards.
  4. Driver Disembarkation: Our drivers disembark prior to passengers' boarding or alighting, ensuring a structured and secure process.
  5. Social Distancing: Drivers maintain a minimum 2-metre social distance from passengers and others when off the vehicle.
  6. Face Mask Compliance: Drivers wear face masks consistently when not driving and when in proximity to the vehicle.
  7. Luggage Handling: Passengers are responsible for loading and unloading their luggage, minimising contact points and ensuring hygiene protocols.
