Background

Education First(EF) is a renowned international education company specialising in facilitating cultural exchange and language learning through study abroad programs. As part of their commitment to providing immersive experiences, EF sought reliable transportation solutions for their American Educational Tour Groups travelling to London during the peak travel season. National Express Transport Solutions (NETS) were chosen to provide consistent and dependable day trips to various points of interest and seamless airport & hotel transfers.

Our Transport Solution

Recognising the intricacies of EF's requirements, initial planning commenced in October preceding the March launch of the peak travel season. A comprehensive meeting was convened to conduct a thorough analysis of the tour season, ensuring all needs were meticulously documented and understood. Leveraging this insight, collaborative efforts were undertaken to establish efficient operational procedures tailored to accommodate the unique movements of each tour group.

To enhance communication and streamline logistics, EF were assigned a dedicated office-based administrator, serving as a single point of contact for any journey adjustments or unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays. A rigorous pre-travel check procedure was implemented, commencing two weeks prior to each journey, to pre-emptively address any potential issues. Furthermore, weekly coordination calls with EF's operations team in Switzerland were scheduled to crosscheck information and finalise arrangements for the upcoming week.

Result:

The culmination of these efforts resulted in the seamless execution of transportation services for 250 tour groups during the peak touring season. With itineraries spanning multiple days and locations across London and the South East of England, NETS successfully delivered on its commitment to reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Through proactive planning, effective communication, and meticulous execution, NETS ensured that EF's educational programs were enriched by smooth and hassle-free transportation experiences, facilitating memorable cultural exchanges and language learning opportunities for participants.
