Hand sanitiser dispensers have been installed on-board our vehicles for both driver and passenger use.
All passengers travelling on a commuter coach or coach holiday will be required to supply and wear a face mask or face covering unless exempt. Whilst this does not affect private hire coach services or those operated under contract, we advise and recommend that face coverings are worn on all coaches (unless exempt). Drivers will be expected to wear face coverings when interacting with customers, onboard and outside the vehicle
We continue to run enhanced cleaning regimes. Our vehicles are cleaned multiple times a day; which includes the disinfection of all high contact areas with antiviral products and fogging systems.
Purifying Air Filters
Our air filtration systems will regularly purify the air onboard the vehicle throughout your coach journey.
Boarding has returned to normal, but we ask passengers to all be responsible for keeping themselves safe and to be considerate of others.
As per government advice, it is not required to temperature check passengers before boarding, however, the equipment to do so will be available.
Drivers are issued with personal protective equipment and protective screens are fitted on all National Express fleet vehicles. It is not mandatory for the driver to wear gloves, masks or visors whilst driving.
Our team will regularly be in contact with you before and on the day of your hire. Please ensure you read all communications sent to you as these may contain important information regarding your booking. Our 24hour support team will also be available to answer any questions that you may have.
Do not travel if you’re experiencing any coronavirus symptoms. These include a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
Wash your hands and use sanitisers where available before travelling. If you can, bring hand sanitiser gel for use during your journey.
Government guidance recommends the wearing of a face covering or mask when travelling on public transport. To minimise the spread of the virus you will be expected to wear a face mask or face covering when on-board the coach.
We welcome you back on board, however, please ensure that you check our website for the latest updates and government advice before travelling.
