Background

Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich (HBAED) are part of Harris Federation (a group of 49 schools across London and the South East). HBAED currently have no sporting facilities on-site and are required to take year groups off-site for their PE lessons to Kings College Sports Ground. HBAED had become displeased with their previous transport supplier due to driver issues, poor service levels and quality of vehicles,  and failure to turn up. 

Our Transport Solution

While in operation our daily London Commuter services had 4 hours of downtime during service runs. Additionally, our Clarkes of London depot is situated in proximity to HBAED's campus providing us with ample opportunity to serve the school for local short trips within the London area.

Having the knowledge of HBAED’s experience with coach suppliers, we ensured that no stone was left unturned and provide the client with a solution of continually high service levels. We ensure that our 24/7 support team and Account Managers are available to deal with any issues or concerns that may arise during hires and support the client throughout the period of their contract both during and outside of normal office hours.

Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich (HBAED) were extremely happy with the service and pricing we provide and we were subsequently, invited by Harris Federation to complete a mini-tender where we are now a preferred coach supplier for the whole Federation. This has provided us with the opportunity to approach other schools within the federation for ad hoc, and where possible, contractual work. We have also been appointed by the Federation to run a Home To School contract for a new school in Wimbledon from September 2020.
