Endemol Shine UK Ltd – The provision of VIP and Executive Coaches for Soccer Aid
2010 – present
Locations: London & Manchester
Background

Soccer Aid is an annual charity event that has raised over £24 million in aid for UNICEF UK. The event is a friendly football match between two teams, England and the Soccer Aid World XI (formerly known as 'Rest of the World'). The Kings ferry was tasked with providing 4 Executive Coaches for the family and friends of the players and two VIP coaches for each team, wrapped in Soccer Aid & Unicef branding.

Our Transport Solution

Due to the nature of the booking and the client's requirements, a project team was put together which included a Key Account Manager and members of our operational team. The client's requirements were reviewed and a plan featuring driver's hours and coach routes was put in place. The two VIP coaches were off-road the day prior to the hire to accommodate wrapping the vehicle and, on the day of the event, were used to transport the star-studded line-up to the biggest charity match in the world.

For the 2010 to 2018 matches, coaches were wrapped in the iconic Soccer Aid livery distinguishing each coach with either ‘England’ or ‘Rest of the World’. From the training days to the after-party, transporting both teams was a huge, unforgettable honour.
