Education First 2019
The challenge

To provide consistent, reliable ground transport for American Educational Tour Groups coming into London during the peak travel season in 2019. During the peak season, Clarke’s vehicles were used 250 times.

The response

The work consisted of hotel/airport transfers and day trips to surrounding points of interest. Due to the high volume of work this would entail, we focused on planning and efficiency as early as possible by meeting with our Swiss client in October 2018. We ran through what their season looked like to make sure all requirements were detailed and understood. This then allowed us to agree “Tour Codes” to quickly identify what each group’s movements would look like. From there we assigned Education First their own office based administrator to give them one point of contact in the event of changes or flight delays.

Once the groups began to arrive in the UK we had a robust tour checking procedure in place, running at 2 weeks ahead of travel and a daily call with the operations team in Switzerland to confirm driver details for the following day.
