Education First is an international education company that specialises in helping people of all ages and nationalities experience new cultures and learn new languages through study abroad and cultural exchange programmes. Clarkes of London were selected to provide consistent and reliable Day trips to surrounding points of interest and Airport & Hotel transfers to American Educational Tour Groups travelling into London during the peak travel season of 2019.
The complexities of the client's requirement called for initial planning to take place in October 2018. A meeting was held and a deep dive into the tour season was held to make sure all requirements were detailed and understood. With the knowledge gained, “Tour Codes” were agreed on to quickly identify what each group’s movements would look like.
From there, Education First were assigned their own office-based administrator giving them one point of contact in the event of journey changes or flight delays. Once the tour groups began to arrive in the UK a robust checking procedure was in place, running 2 weeks ahead of travel. Additionally, daily calls with the operations team in Switzerland were organised to confirm information for the following day.
The peak touring season saw Clarke’s of London used 250 times.
