Our policies and practices will advance the social, environmental and economic conditions in which we operate.

Coach hire is a greener way to travel

Nowadays everybody is under pressure to reduce their carbon footprint and do their bit for the environment. With coach hire being one of the greener ways to travel, it’s an easy way to help solve the problem.

We aim to reduce our carbon emissions throughout our entire fleet. One of the ways in which we manage to do this is by keeping energy efficient.

Our vehicles undergo regular maintenance from our in-house engineers to ensure potential faults are eliminated. Keeping the vehicles well-maintained also increases fuel consumption efficiency.

Reducing Your Carbon Footprint

Our fleet has one of the lowest levels of carbon emissions within the UK industry, we understand the importance of reducing our carbon footprint and we can help you to do the same.

With a standard car fitting 4 people and one of our standard vehicles fitting around 40 people, that’s 10 cars on the road to 1 coach. So, if you opt to travel on-board one of our coaches with your family and friends that makes a significant difference on your carbon footprint and the environment than if you were all to take your own cars!

According to the Department of Transport and their Energy & Environment Statistics, cars and taxis emit 69.7 million tonnes of CO2, that’s 18% of all domestic emissions. Whereas, coaches emit 3.4 million tonnes of CO2, a mere 1% of all domestic emissions.

Ultra-Low Emission Zone

The Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) was introduced into Central London from April 2019 and will extend to Inner London from October 2021.

ULEZ’s aim is to encourage the use of eco-friendly transport options, such as coaches, within the capital.

The Kings Ferry coaches are allowed in the ULEZ as we meet the required Euro VI emission standards to be classed as Ultra-Low Emission.
